Education. Health. Hope – and emergency aid
Since 2008, SONNE-International has been supporting the poorest people in Myanmar and providing education and medical care to the slum children of Yangon. However, following the military coup, the already precarious supply of aid has largely collapsed. Natural disasters, medical emergencies and refugee movements make rapid emergency aid vital for survival.
As the only Austrian organisation with a local team and on-site authorisation, we are continuously present on the ground with our project coordinator Jochen Meissner, running our projects and increasingly also carrying out emergency relief measures.
We are staying put. Because education and health are the only way out of poverty. You too can help these children, who deserve better than war and misery.

Since 2006 we have been awarded the Donation Seal of Approval. In Austria, your donations to SONNE-International are tax deductible. If you provide us with your full name as well as your date of birth, we will forward your annual donation amount to the tax office.
